ACCOUNTING AND BOOKKEPPING INFORMATION SYSTEMS
The Accounting and Management Informatics study programme aims to train a category of specialists in the field of accounting, who will contribute to the development of competitiveness on the labour market of the economic entities where they will work as specialists in the financial-accounting field. The study programme is student-centred and aims to train specialists in the field.
The general objective of the programme is to train competences and develop technical skills specific to the field of accounting and management informatics, in accordance with those established by the Romanian Association of Faculties of Economics for the field of Accounting, which will provide students with the possibility of professional involvement in the analysis of situations and decision-making, both for the efficient development of economic activities and for the development of new businesses and poles of technological and economic development.

Professional skills
- Identifying and recording the economic operations in the entity/ organisation bookkeeping system
- Use of the IT resource in the financial-accounting field
- Processing the information in order to draft financial-accounting and/ or fiscal reports
- Establishing and interpreting the economic-financial indicators
- Running the operations specific to the financial-accounting verification
Transversal skills
- Putting into practice the principles, the norms and the values of professional ethics in the own strategy of rigorous, efficient and responsible work
- Identifying the roles and responsibilities in a multi-specialized team and putting into practice techniques of relation and efficient work within the team
- Identifying the opportunities for continuous training and efficient capitalization of the learning resources and techniques for the own development
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- applying operational accounting techniques and procedures specific to financial and management accounting;
- practical skills in the use of computers and software specific to the field for the performance of accounting and fiscal management work;
- skills in calculating and interpreting taxes, duties and other fiscal payments at the level of public and private entities and professional and governmental organisations;
- organising accounting work, documentation, filing supporting documents, archiving documents, etc;
- participating in the development of and compliance with the accounting and financial reporting policies of public, private and other institutions and organisations;
- applying operational recording techniques and procedures specific to credit institutions;
- participating in the preparation of individual and group financial statements and interpreting the data provided by them, and preparing microeconomic analyses, summaries and forecasts;
- participating in the use of accounting and financial information to support decision-making within economic entities.
