What Does the International Students Office Do?

The International Students Office is UVVG’s dedicated structure that connects the university with the world. You are not just a file in an archive — you are a student we know by country, by language, and by what you aspire to become. This means that from your very first question, you receive a real answer from a real person.

The Office advises and informs prospective international students about the study programs available at UVVG, the enrollment procedures, and the legal admission requirements. If you come from a non-EU country, the Office also handles your application to the Ministry of National Education, from evaluation to the issuance of the letter of acceptance for studies.

The Office actively collaborates with all six faculties of the university for optimal integration of international students into the academic community of Arad. It manages the centralized database of enrolled international students, ensures information is provided to UVVG management, and supports students in obtaining the necessary documents for extending their residence visa in Romania.

Beyond admission, the Office remains an active partner throughout your studies: it offers support in resolving administrative difficulties, facilitates access to accommodation in student dormitories, and maintains a permanent connection between UVVG’s international community and the global network of alumni from over 55 countries. The Office operates based on the regulation approved by the UVVG Senate and endorsed by the Administrative Board.
